  To assist pre commissioning and commissioning activities of piping systems completed include flange joint leak test, air flushing, water flushing etc.
  To coordinate for the shutdown activities in piping works include shut down plan preparation, man power, machinery, shut down materials and equipment estimation, coordination for the Permit To Work procedure with client, coordination for the site preparation etc
  Preparation of construction method statements and procedures like procedures for piping installation and testing of piping and structure’s, installation of Pre-cast Chambers etc
  To liaise with engineering team for the completion of approved construction (AFC) drawing and ensure complete transmittal of the same in to site
  To check the Bill of Material (Material Take Off) as per drawing for ensuring requirements are realistically quantified as per scope and budget and follow up the delivery of the project/construction materials
  To liaise with procurement and material management team to ensure the project piping material delivery are in time as per planned schedule to site
  Liaising with engineering (design team) to ensure deliverable like project materials and equipments meet construction requirements
  Identify material specification, inspection requirements and organizes for stage inspection as required
  To study the vendor manuals for monitoring the materials delivery and ensuring all inspection of material/equipment as per vendor specification
  To coordinate for the installation, stringing, lowering, testing, commissioning activities
  Conduct daily meeting for the progress and concern related to the works with Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation and Commissioning discipline head, participate weekly meeting with client
  Preparation of different types of work permits for the mechanical activities, attend the Permit To Work training classes, identify and control the hazards, site visit with client, preparation for site audit etc
  Review of Shop Drawings, Profile Drawings based on Tender Drawings and Technical Specifications
  Approval of Shop Drawings, Profile Drawings based on Clients comments to accommodate those changes
  Review and Approval of Material Submittals based on Client Requirements / Technical Specifications
  Review and Coordination for approval of NOCs from concerned authorities Etisalat,DU, DEWA, Dubai Municipality, RTA and Horticulture
  Review and Approval of Method Statement and Inspection & Test Plan
  Review of Work Plan as per Completion Dates
  Attending Health, Safety and Environment, Quality Meetings
  Pipe line maintenance is being prepared, scheduled, executed and reported according to DEWA procedures and strategies, Set the maintenance direction and strategy for Pipe line maintenance equipments and ensure implementation on the assets.
  Ensure materials selected for repairs or replacements of pipes are in line compatible with DEWA standards. Work closely together with DEWA
  Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for any pipeline failures and follow up the implementation of the RCA recommendations
  Preparation and Hydro testing of process pie lines as per ASME B31.3 and DEWA Specifications.
  Inspection of Testing and Commissioning (T & C) activities like Hydraulic Pressure Test, Flushing, Chlorination and Bacterial Test for the Pipeline and Reservoir
  Preparation of Daily, weekly and monthly project report.
  Witness of 3rd Party Laboratories Inspections for the Concrete like Cube Test, Cone Test, Slump Test and Temperature as per Client Specifications
  Reporting Project Progress status with the photographs to the Client and other necessary documents
  Regular Site Visits to monitor ongoing construction activities
  Issuance of NCRs for the observed Non conformities in the Project
  Material Receiving Inspections for the incoming materials as per the received RFIs from the Contractor
  Installation Inspections as per the ITP upon receipt of RFIs
  Snag List preparation thru Final Site Walks with the Client and Contractor
  Final Inspection before issuing Taking Over Certificate
  Preparation of Daily, weekly and monthly project report.
  Supervising for HDD ( Horizontal direct drilling ) works
  Supervising for Microtunneling works
  Supervising for NDRC and NDM works
  Key responsibiltiy2 (SCADA)
  
  Monitoring and supervising of all safety measurements and site activities, update daily work progress and report to the Assistant Resident Engineer and SCADA Engineer.
  Project management related to the SCADA/RTU/PLC scope of work
  Participating in the HSE meeting conducted from the contractor Safety manager
  Review the material submittals of SCADA, and forwarding the same to the client for final approval.
  Drawing preparation & Site supervision of, installation, power-up, and commissioning activities for the various SCADA electrical & instrumentation activities.
  Supervising the installation of Field instrument (Butterfly valve, Motorized valves, Magnetic Flow- meter & Pressure transmitter) as per the approved design drawings.
  Supervising the installation of various cable laying ( Fiber Optic cable , Modbus, Profibus , Control & Power cables) as per approved shop drawings
  Review of final vendor documentation and contractors as-built drawings for final update in GIS
  Clearance of Punch List and submission of Verification & Warranty certificate to the clients as per the contract specification.
  Recommending for Final handing over & issuance of TOC(Taking over certificates)
  Reviewing the Piping & Instrumentation diagram for each compartment and submitting for approval
  Supervising the installation of RTU equipments, PLC, related to the SCADA system.
  Monitoring contractors & sub-contractors performance to fall in line with planned schedules.
  Installation Inspections as per the ITP upon receipt of RFIs
  Supervising the cable laying (twisted pair cable), testing & commissioning.
  Review all installation drawings for pressure transmitter, RTU & flow transmitter
  RTU/PLC electrical drawing for checking as of built.
  Check the daily, weekly and monthly progress report and submit to client for approval
