Study the job description and any available information you have on the position. Are you mirroring the words and phrases in the job description? Are you showcasing your strengths in the areas that seem to be of paramount importance to this role?

Think about how, what you do will help your manager, the company, or your customer to succeed.

When you provide value to others, you open up opportunities.

Think of a potential employer as a potential client.

Make lists of your strengths, experience, and skills and imagine using them in your new job.

Use the right Font

Do not use too big or too small font sizes.

Also do not use more than one Font type.

Times New Roman is ok but very old fashioned style, try to avoid it.

Do not use Fancy types of fonts.

Calibri is considered to be a reasonable type of font.

You may use Calibri 12 for Normal Text and Calibri 12 Bold for headings.

The other font choices can be SansSerif

If you are sending emails to a Big List. Your Email will most possibly land in the Junk or Spam folder of the recruiters.

If you send your large list in smaller segments, the email provider (Hotmail, Gmail, etc.) will see less spam complaints bundled together at one time.

Do a Test to know that all of your emails are going properly in the inbox and not marked as Spam.

Don’t call the employer over and over without leaving a message.

Sound professional at all times.

Don’t jump to conclusions too quickly.

Otherwise you can set your own range, keeping your last salary and current market conditions in mind.

While specifying range... keep margins of around 20% on high & low side.
