Summary of Career

1. nsibilities:  Monitored pressure parts of boiler transportation via SPMT (Self Propelled Modular Transportation) heavy transportation.  Participated in heavy lifting of condensers (440 ton), STG on Main Power House.  Investigated accidents/near miss reports and determine probable causes and develop appropriate safety measures to prevent re ocurrence of similar incidents


2.  Participated boiler hydro test (460 bar pressure) of super heater pipes of boiler  Attended COMISSIONING TEST and Coal Firing on BOILER of 600 MW.  Well experiences in welding activities like Butt fusion welding, TIG WELDING, MIG WELDING, OXY-ACETYLENE GAS CUTTINGS, STUD WELDING.  Monitored confined spaces activities including gas testing, confined space emergence procedures, ventilations etc.


3.  Monitored Transformer shifting through Heavy Hydraulic Lifting (440 ton).  Participated work at height rescue operations, emergency drills, and Emergency rescue operations.  Monitored commissioning operations, LOTO implementation of natural gas stations.


4.  Routine inspection carried-out for chain block, hand tools, portable power tools, lifting accessories, all aerial lifts, vehicle checklists.  Monitored 800 meter steel erection of Coal Shed and boiler steel structure including multiple lifting, tandem lifting and winch operations.  Lifting and installation of hot, cold air ducts. High, medium and low pressure and hose pipes.


5.  Emergency rescue planning and monthly drills such as work at height rescue, confined space rescue and fire emergency. Confined space ventilation and illumination plans including gas testing.  Rock wool work including sheeting for 85 meters boiler. Also including installation bucket wheel stacker and reclaimer.
