Summary of Career

1. Responsible for orders planning, scheduling and delivery of Petroleum products in a vast network of Retail outlets. Plan and schedule customer orders on daily basis across multiple Terminals/Depots, choosing the best supply point, carrier type/size and delivery routes, thereby executing in the most efficient manner possible.


2. Managing overall Logistics (Road Tankers) movement. Coordinating with transporter for movement of fleet to the respective terminal/depot, ensuring effective and balanced fleet utilization.


3. Monitoring and assessment of KPIs (performance metrics) related to fleet planning, orders fulfillment, transport utilization, effective deliveries and working on continuous improvements in the required areas.


4. Visit Retail sites on occasional basis to observe Road tanker unloading/decanting operations and ensuring Fleet safety and HSEQ compliance at site.


5. Keeping track of stocks/inventory levels and sales position of retail sites. Sustaining site’s safety stock levels by timely replenishment planning, ensuring none of the sites goes dry-out/stock-out by prioritizing critical orders.


6. Ensuring strong cross departmental coordination with company’s stakeholders and working pro-actively with Terminal operations, Retail sales, and Finance teams to ensure that fuel delivery cycle is done accurately.


7. Resolving Customer’s (Retail sites) issues and complaints regarding scheduling, execution, and deliveries. Also keeping updated records of Customer’s detail in database.


8. Preparing, maintaining and recordkeeping of daily sales and execution/upliftment records. Sharing execution summary with relevant stakeholders on daily basis. Also reconciling daily and monthly sales data of Terminal/Plant dispatches with ERP to help in monthly closing.


9. Compiling primary sales data, and sharing with Sales team (Retail Head, Cluster managers, Area Managers) with detailed analysis including Site-wise sales, Region-wise sales, and National level sales. Also comparing the forecasted sales with current and base sale volumes.


10. Preparing and presenting data and reports related to orders fulfillment, transport efficiency/utilization, scheduling performance KPIs, and sales data to management in daily huddles and weekly/monthly meetings as and when required.
