    • Deploy and manage the Data Center of Multan Electric Power Company MEPCO.
    • Develop and deploy Information Technology (IT) infrastructure that will provide a platform to host MEPCO Servers, Enterprise Databases, System and automation of the applications facilities in order to provide improved services for Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO)
    • Interface with vendors to rectify problems and recommend hardware/ software solutions and documenting an IT Infrastructure
    • Deploy the LAN and WAN infrastructure at MEPCO HQ and more than 30 remote site offices.
    • Install, configure, monitor and Administer Directory Services, email , Proxy, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Anti Spyware, Data Storage and other related Services.

    • Execute backup as per policy and perform recovery as per demand/requirement
    • Provide essential hardware support for laptops, desktop personal computers, the printers and other related devices in the company.
    • Monitor log files, traffic and access logs to detect and remediate any performance or security issues.

    • Administer and maintain Linux and MS Windows 2012 Servers infrastructure, with emphasis on installing and maintaining servers.
    • Analyzes all Linux and Windows related systems and identifies problems; system upgrades/patches, installation procedures, reviews procedures and work flow, evaluates data, defines information requirements, designs solutions to identified and defined problems, documents analyses and evaluations.
    • Architecture, design, install, configure VMware, ESXi, within vSphere environments with vCenter management and SAN / NAS.
    • Administration of IT infrastructure of the project offices. This includes overall office operation, equipment operation and maintenance, IT, electronic communications and supervision of any staff and/or consultants for IT employed or contracted by the project.

    • As Technical Team Lead supervise the datacenter and infrastructure of MEPCO IT ERP team. Responsible for overall IT operation and projects, gather management and internal client requirements, planning the stages of the project, coordinating the project teams, keeping management and internal client updated on progress and evaluation of each project stage and once complete.
    • Contract management SLA and OLA with vendors, service providers and principle. Recommendation regarding I.T infrastructure enhancement and best practices.
    • Liaison with vendors to keep up to date with the latest process and hardware developments and renewal the licenses and Service Level Agreement.
    • Annual budget, five years procurement plan including hardware, software requirements for MEPCO Datacenter.
    • Manage and handle over 700 nodes network in MEPCO HQ and 60 Remote Offices.
