   Involved in project-based purchasing- (Local/Global Vendors).
   Handling all purchasing / logistics activities without any supervision.
   Responsible for selection of suitable suppliers based on the requirement.
   Sending RFQs to potential suppliers based on the material requisition.
   Responding to technical clarifications raised by the suppliers.
   Technical and commercial evaluation of quotes submitted by the suppliers.
   Negotiation with vendors to fit within the procurement budget/requirements.
   Inspection visits at manufacturers facilities to ensure quality and timely execution.
   Follow-up with the supplier regarding the material delivery.
   Co-ordinate with stores / QC team / end user till acceptance of the supplied materials.
   Arrange Inbound/Outbound shipments via transportation methods such as air, land,
  sea depending upon delivery requirements.
   Preparing shipping documents & coordinating with logistics part based on the project
  requirement.
   Co-ordinate with freight forwarding agents about shipments, documents & shipping
  methods.
   Independently handled LC shipments of 3 million USD.
