Responsibilities & Duties
My project was how to implement Q-pillar (quality pillar) on a plant
Objectives of Q- pillar were to identify quality losses, eliminate the causes of quality losses, sustain, and continuously improve the zero-defect system.
Worked on zero step of Q-pillar out of six steps that was “steps done before the implementation of Q-pillar.”
Gathered data about consumer and customer complaints, rework, and waste etc.
Created ID cards into defect categories, defect types and defect modes to have a common set of defects.
Used data collection forms to measure the occurrence of defect modes in the line.
Elaborate these documents showing perfect vs defective product.
Also participate in internal audit to ensure the compliance in food safety.

Make the finance sheet of all ordered food items and submit it to the finance team.

I did a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology where i gained vast knowledge about food processing, food preservation techniques, food safety and quality assurance rules and regulations.Master 21 September 2020
I graduated from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad with a Master of Science in Food Technology. During this period, I gained a strong foundation in various aspects of food technology, including food safety and quality, food analysis and evaluation, and new product development strategies. I did my Research project in which I prepared cookies enriched with chia seeds and lemon pomace where I performed various physical and chemical experiments and found out the nutritional value of the product
