  Duties and Responsibilities:
  
  • Generally was responsible for implementations and monitoring of all electrical related works at site and coordinates the works with mechanical and civil groups.
  
  • Interprets and study design drawings, contracts, specifications and applicable standards prior to execution of work.
  
  • Preparing and submitting shop drawings and coordination drawings for approval by consultants.
  • Responsible for preparing material submittals and method statements for approval.
  
  • Allocating resources as per the schedule to achieve target.
  • Ordering the Required material as per specifications.
  
  • Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved coordination drawings, project specifications, and all applicable standards.
  
  • Ensuring that the project execution will be done according to all applicable health, safety, and environmental standards.
  
  • Supervise all subcontractor work to ensure compliance with client requirements.
  • Getting approvals from consultant for the executed work through site inspection requests.
  
  • Preparing weekly report and submitting to the Project manager and highlighting the Problems affecting the Progress on site.
  
  • Liaise with consultants and clients on installation issues and design details.
  • Highlighting the problems in drawing and installation by raising Request for Information (RFI).
  • Attended regular progress meetings and technical meetings and talking actions for the requested items
  • Preparing summary log reports for materials.
  
  • Always following the updated / revised drawing and submitting the variation report to the contracts department.

  Duties & Responsibilities:
  
  • Study/Review of tender documents, scope of work, drawing, Specifications, Client requirements & etc. from the tender documents for proper estimating works.
  
  • Prioritize RFQ’s that require more time to get quotation & major cost items.
  
  • Follow up with suppliers/sub-contractor to obtain quotation in time, clarify when to all their queries & meetings with the suppliers when required.
  
  • Represent the company on behalf of electrical department in dealing with Consultant/clients, authorities and suppliers.
  
  • Cross checking of Approved IFC drawing and raising RFI if required.
  
  • Coordination with other departments, preparing shop drawing based on builder work drawing and submitting to consultant and Authorities for Approval.
  
  • Answering the letters of subcontractors relating to scope of work or for any technical queries.
  • Calculation/sizing of electrical cable, circuit breaker (DB, SMDB & LV-MDB) & Capacitor bank.
  • Load schedule, voltage drop and electrical schematic diagram.
  
  • Coordinating with civil architect & technical team to ensure that there is no clashing or conflict between civil & MEP services.
  
  • Checking the tests reports of Pile Caps, checking the readings and ensuring the pile cap should be used Earthing & Lightning protection.
  
  • Confirmation from civil team that dedicated rebar used as down conductor for earthing & lightning protection in the columns are going upto the roof.
  
  
  Focusing on civil project timeline and coordinating with related zone construction manager to ensure MEP works are completed in time and MEP clearance are released from consultant.
  • Raising MIR’s, IR’s and follow up with Consultant for the same. Focusing on closing NCR, if any.
  
  • Preparing MEP Project Logs for Shop Drawing, Technical Submittals, Method of Statement, RFI, MIR, IR, MEP Clearance, NOC and the log of list of items to be submitted in the future.
