1. Acceptance of tender documents including drawings, specification and bill of quantities from clients, consultants or main contractor
2. Studying carefully the scope of work, inclusions and exclusions for the respected projects.
3. Arriving all the quantities from drawing, preparing material takeoff sheets, reading general and specification carefully to know the requirements in the project.
4. Checking the arrived quantities from the drawings with the quantities provided in the BOQ.
5. Checking the discrepancies and generating any available queries to clients, consultants or main contractors from the drawings, specification and BOQ the tender documents.
6. Floating enquiries to the specific/standard manufacturers and suppliers.
7. Evaluating the obtain quotes to match with the specification and negotiating with the suppliers to get best prices of the material/equipment
8. Calculating the direct costs (material/sundries cost) and indirect costs (labor costs based on man, days as agreed with the project team)
9. preparation of technical proposal for tender submission
10. preparation of material submission for consultant submission and approval.
