Executes the specific inspections on materials and equipments. Monitor operations to ensure that they meet maintenance and production standards. Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process. Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced. Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, UT Wall Thickness Gauge or micrometers etc. Accept or reject finished items. Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications. Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products. Report inspection and test data. Good knowledge of Welding, Wellhead Equipments (Valves, DSA, BOP, Spool, etc.), HSAW, PT, MPT, Hardness, Pressure Testing, Residual Strength & Visual Inspection. thorough knowledge of related industry codes & standards such as API 510 (Pressure Vessel Inspection), API 570 (Piping Inspection), and API 653 (Above Ground Storage Tank Inspection) API 6A Repair & Manufacturing API 5CT Repair & Manufacturing BOP Recertification API 7-1 Repair & manufacturing.
