Direct and Indirect supervision of three laboratories equipped with latest instrumentation. Obtained ISO /IEC 17025:2017 laboratory accreditation. Set up new laboratory equipment, develop procedures, work instructions and provide relevant training to lab chemists/technicians during refinery up-gradation. (Isomerization, Diesel hydro- desulphrizer, Hydrogen, Sour water, Amine treating and utilities plant). Supervise crude oil assay testing of different feedstocks, providing crude characterization data for refinery up-gradation study. Proven record of successful management of a team of chemists in the laboratory. Documented all laboratory activities in accordance with ISO/IEC17025:2017. Demonstrated experience in oil refinery lab test procedures including ASTM, UOP and IP methods of analysis. Identified, mitigate and planned actions to address risk in laboratory activities. Optimization of blending ratios of plant products with metallic and non-metallic octane booster to produce 90 RON PMG product and increase in PMG production upto 40 percent. Optimization of pour point depressant in furnace fuel oil to reduce the cost upto 30 percent. Improvement in Laboratory Management System (ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001). Conduct and supervise R&D for providing test data to UOP, required for Bottom of the Barrel study to convert residual fuel oil into more valuable products and continuous catalysts regeneration plant (Reformer).
