1. Preparing the statutory financial statements including Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flows Statement.
2. Payroll and payments processing & recording of accounts receivables/payables including vendors’ reconciliations.
3. Financial reporting based on IAS/IFRS principles adhering to all applicable laws; ensuring accurate year-end provisions, adjustments and disclosures for monthly/yearly closing in order to meet reporting deadlines.
4. Direct liaison with internal and external auditors (Big 4) for effective and timely completion of audit and resolution of technical issues raised by audit teams.
5. Reviewing tax returns & supporting schedules for submission to FBR; monitoring the reconciliations & ensuring timely payment of tax.
6. Cash flow projections and its management including income statement forecasts to support business decisions.
7. Preparing comprehensive budgets using zero based & incremental budgeting approach and presenting the same before COO/CEO for approvals.
8. Funds utilization report, variance analysis and commentary prepared for CFO to support Board meetings.
9. Key liaison between Finance Department and Business Systems team to ensure configuration of new system met business needs; migration reconciliations on key areas such as general ledgers to ensure accuracy of migrated data.
10. Liaising with legal/tax advisors, bankers and other stakeholders over routine business matters and building strong relationship with them.
