Working in Supply Chain department with the following job objectives:
- Responsible for orders planning, scheduling and delivery of Petroleum products in a vast network of Retail outlets. Compile, plan and schedule customer orders on daily basis across multiple depot locations, choosing the best supply point, carrier type/size and delivery routes, thereby executing in the most efficient manner possible. Using Customer portal and ERP for scheduling and sale orders generation.
- Managing overall Logistics (Road Tankers) movement. Coordinating with transporter for movement of fleet to the respective terminal/depot, ensuring effective and balanced fleet utilization. Keeping and maintaining complete records of all trips of Road tankers fleet.
- Monitoring and assessment of KPIs (performance metrics) related to fleet planning, orders fulfillment, transport utilization, effective deliveries and working on continuous improvements in the required areas.
- Visit Retail sites on occasional basis to observe Road tanker unloading/decanting operations and ensuring Fleet safety and HSEQ compliance at site.
- Keeping track of stocks/inventory levels and sales position of retail sites. Sustaining site’s safety stock levels by timely replenishment planning, ensuring none of the sites goes dry-out/stock-out by prioritizing critical orders.
- Daily monitoring of Operations and coordinating with all terminals/depot for smooth execution of scheduled plan. Ensuring strong cross departmental coordination with company’s stakeholders and working pro-actively with Terminal operations, Retail sales, and Finance teams to ensure that fuel delivery cycle is done accurately.
- Resolving Customer’s (Retail sites) issues and complaints regarding scheduling, execution, and deliveries. Also keeping updated records of Customer’s detail in database and in Transport network map.
- Identifying opportunities for system improvements and liaising with the IT department to implement system changes for supply chain planning, resolving ERP issues and to improve Customer portal configuration.
- Preparing, maintaining and recordkeeping of daily sales and execution/upliftment records. Sharing execution summary with relevant stakeholders on daily basis. Also reconciling daily and monthly sales data of Terminal/Plant dispatches with ERP to help in monthly closing.
- Compiling primary sales data, and sharing with Sales team (Retail Head, Cluster managers, Area Managers) with detailed analysis including Site-wise sales, Region-wise sales, and National level sales. Also comparing the forecasted sales with current and base sale volumes.
- Preparing and presenting data and reports related to orders fulfillment, transport efficiency/utilization, scheduling performance KPIs, and sales data to management in daily huddles and weekly/monthly meetings as and when required.
Achievements and Contributions:
- Awarded with appreciation certificate twice in 2022 for exceptional performance.
- Visited more than 9 Retail outlets, prepared report related to HSEQ compliances and other learning outcomes.
- Prepared a Sales dashboard in MS Excel to analyze sales trend, highest/lowest selling sites, and for comparative analysis of current monthly Sales with YOY, MOM and forecasted monthly sales.
- Prepared a Stocks and Inventory positions dashboard in MS Excel with Visualizations to evaluate stocks trends and patterns at multiple terminal locations and planned Vs. actual replenishments.
