Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Inventory Control Manager role based in Islamabad. The Inventory Control Manager will oversee daily inventory operations, including tracking stock levels, verifying receipts, and coordinating the storage and movement of medical equipment. This role ensures inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, physical inventory checks, extensive use of scanners, and variance investigations, while maintaining proper documentation and system updates. The person in this position will collaborate with procurement, warehousing, logistics, and sales teams to align inventory with demand, minimize stockouts and overstock, and support timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities also include developing and improving inventory control procedures, monitoring key performance indicators, and using data insights to recommend process improvements and cost-saving opportunities. The role involves leading or supporting inventory staff, enforcing safety and compliance standards, and ensuring that all equipment is handled and stored in line with company and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
• Strong foundation in inventory disciplines, including Inventory Control, Inventory Management, and Inventory Accuracy.
• Hands-on experience conducting Physical Inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciling variances.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret inventory data, identify trends, and propose process improvements.
• Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software and proficiency with spreadsheets or related reporting tools.
• Prior experience in warehousing, supply chain, or logistics; experience with medical equipment or healthcare products is an advantage.
• Proven ability to organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work with cross-functional teams and provide clear guidance to operational staff.
