  • As Audit Executive, planned and executed internal audits for different departments of the organisation, identifying any error or non-compliance of policy and procedure. In 2015, identified a vendor charging higher prices for its services. Took up the matter with vendor in consultation with management and identified the person responsible. Resulting in reimbursement of material sum of money to the Dairy Project.
  • Performed compliance reviews to ensure that significant legislative, compliance and regulatory issues impacting the organisation are recognised and addressed properly.
  • Prepared internal audit reports summarising the results of audit activities to report audit findings and proposed recommendations to the Internal Audit Manager.
  • Liaised with management on audit matters, in order to resolve reported observations and agree upon recommendations to improve operations and internal controls.
  • Follow up of audit reports from management, to ensure feedback and reflect management responses in final audit reports.
  • Performed investigations of reported issues, identified persons responsible for disciplinary action and recommended compensation for affected party (if applicable).
