  Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project feasibility studies and prepare job packages for new production facilities installations, repair and modification of existing production facilities including their technical evaluation, specifications and materials for modifications together with process diagrams and cost estimates.
  • Manage the production of conceptual, front-end (FEED) and detailed engineering for assigned projects, including cost estimates, terms of references, and project schedules.
  • Manage design team in the preparation of necessary drawings, engineering design calculations and Hydraulic analysis, project specifications, data sheets/material requisitions, and ensure correctness, completeness and compliance with industry and company standards and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance to all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, compliance, delivery of high quality and a responsible environmental attitude.
  • Monitor and supervise the activities and work of inspectors to ensure that all work within a specific area of the inspection activity is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with production facilities operating procedures and applicable API/ ASME Codes.
  • Review and establish frequency of static equipment inspection schedules using Risk Base Inspection methodology and formulate inspection policies and procedures.
  • Regularly monitor inspectors’ reports to estimate service life of equipment’s fitness for service and ensure integrity and quality standards are maintained in line with API & ASME Codes.
  • Participate in detailed turnaround/ shutdown planning for inspection/facilities modification jobs including reviewing engineering design documents, preparations of scope of work of inspection activities, extent of inspection for plant equipment.
  • Provide overall management for determination of overall project resourcing, identify risks and prepare contingency plans for the entire engineering projects portfolio to ensure that the goals are achievable within required schedules and budgets.
  • Manage to collect, validate and analyze information on project progress against plan to highlight key variances requiring cross-functional resolution in order to achieve all contractual milestones aligned with quality measures as per overall baseline schedules and within allocated budget.
  • Participate in developing RFQ & Tender documents relevant to all engineering operations and participate in technical evaluation of contractors/consultants in tender process, while monitoring all contractual activities related to the project to ensure cost effective and quality services are obtained from vendors/Contractors.
  • Ensure effective coordination and monitoring of contractor staff, endorse work carried out by contractors and thereby facilitate timely completion of tasks as per companies Quality and HSE standards.
