Summary of Career

1. Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, in accordance with accounting principles and regulations.


2. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process and review invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports. Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including timely payment of vendors and collections from customers.


3. General Ledger Maintenance: Ensure the integrity of the general ledger by reconciling accounts, verifying entries, and resolving discrepancies. Review and post journal entries for accruals, prepayments, and other adjustments


4. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Provide accurate and timely financial reports to management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies as required.


5. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvement. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.


6. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and performance evaluations to assess the financial health of the organization. Identify areas of improvement, cost-saving opportunities, and potential risks. Provide recommendations for financial planning and decision making.


7. Payroll Processing: Process employee payroll, including calculating wages, deductions, and tax withholdings. Ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries and benefits. Maintain employee payroll records and comply with payroll tax regulations.


8. Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax. Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations. Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and advise on tax planning strategies.


9. Audit and Compliance: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and reconciliations. Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.


10. Financial Systems and Software: Utilize accounting software and financial systems to streamline processes and enhance accuracy and efficiency. Recommend improvements in systems and procedures to optimize financial operations.
