During my internship at Colgate Palmolive Pakistan in Karachi, Pakistan, from June 2022 to July 2022, I had the opportunity to work as a Customer Marketing Intern. In this role, my primary focus was on assessing planograms for all categories in top modern trade stores in Karachi.
One of my key responsibilities was to monitor and evaluate the assortment, shelf space, and execution of planograms in these stores. This involved conducting regular store visits and meticulously analyzing the layout and placement of Colgate Palmolive products on the shelves. By assessing planograms, I gained valuable insights into the effectiveness of the company's product placement strategy and identified areas for improvement.
During my time at Colgate Palmolive, I developed a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of visual merchandising principles. I learned how to effectively evaluate product assortment and shelf space to enhance visibility and maximize sales potential. This experience allowed me to understand the importance of strategic product placement in influencing customer buying decisions.
