Roles and responsibilities
• Ensure the requirements of the Corporate Level Quality System (ISO 9001) are delivered on site through the project specific execution and quality plans (PEP/PQP).
• Review project related “Technical Submittals” (Pre-qualifications of Supplier / Sub-Contractors / Material submittals / Method statements) prior to submitting to the consultant.
• Develop / Implement / Control Inspection and Test Plans (ITP’s) together with associated quality control checklists in line with the construction procedures/processes and project specification.
• Ensure inspection of raw materials and bought out items (long lead items) are in line with Project Specification requirements.
• Interface with Consultant / Client / 3rd party for related activities inspection.
• Provide support in the assessment and management of sub-contractors management systems and help ensure the subcontractors are in compliance with PQP.
• Inspect and / or supervise all required inspection activities on daily basis. Collating field and laboratory tests required at site.
• Undertake and drive Prevention Action applicable to the project typically through on-site toolbox talk, trainings, approved method statements and ITPs.

Roles and responsibilities
• Coordinating with material suppliers for their Material Submittals, Review and ensure that all Material Submittals made by suppliers are in-line with project specification, estidama and related drawings prior to make submissions for Engineer’s approval.
• Ensure all incoming materials are with respect to Engineer’s approved material submittals. Raise Material Inspection Request to Engineer’s inspection and their approval.
• Prepare and Submit to Engineer in coordination with project construction/execution team, safety team, all Civil related activities Method statements (includes Inspection &Test Plan, Safety Risk Assessment, Checklists/formats) for their review and approval.
• Maintaining and demonstrating in coordination with document controller, all documentations related to ISO, particularly Quality to Internal and External auditors during ISO surveillance/ re-certification auditing. Implement Project Quality Plan. Promote Quality Systems.
• Train internal staffs/construction/execution team (Site Engineers, Foremans, Chargehands, sub-contractors, Masons, etc) to make them understand sequence/stages of particular activity execution mentioned in Engineer’s approved Method statements/ITPs, Material manufacturer’s instructions regarding preparation and application of their products and also to keep close co-ordination with other trades at ground level for their clearances (example: MEP clearance).
• Coordinate with external 3rd party laboratory for Materials and field testing and submission of Test reports for Engineer’s records and approvals.
• To act independently (within main contractor and sub-contractors) to ensure that all the Quality requirements are achieved. Raise Internal Site Observations/Site notice, Non-Conformances or Memo related to any deviation happening with respect to Project Specification, approved drawings, method statements, material manufacturer’s instructions, etc.,
• Monitoring of document controller updated logs (Technical Submittals, Material Submittals, Site inspections, Method statements, Material Inspection, Shop drawing, Site Inspection Notices, Non-conformance notice logs) at regular intervals for timely correction and corrective action from the concern department, sub-contractor, project execution team.
• Prepare and Submit monthly Project QA/QC report to Engineer and internally to Quality Manager, Project manager/Project director.
• Maintaining and Monitoring of all Testing and measuring equipments (including material testing laboratory, concrete manufacturer/supplier, MEP, Survey instruments) Calibration certificates.

Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct and/ or Participate in COMPANY Quality or technical compliance audits for CONTRACTOR, Sub Contractor or Vendors.
Review QA/QC Procedures and document control as submitted by Contractors and ensure implementation is in compliance with Agreement requirements.

Ensure traceability of all materials and equipment from purchasing and up to delivery on site.
Check all materials and equipment as delivered on site and ensure its compliance with approved materials (MARs) and specification.
Ensure that Contractor making Random samples out of the delivered materials at site in the witness of Client’s Inspection Engineer, at frequency mentioned in Specification/ITP for testing done through Independent Third party Laboratory and submit the report.
Closely monitor Site activities, fully coordinate with PMC discipline (MEP & others) Engineers/Inspection Engineers, CS, CM on a daily basis issuing SOR/NCR in case of non-compliance and reporting to Construction Manager in case of shortage of Contractor’s skilled labourers and/or Site supervision staff.
