Summary of Career
1. Monitoring, Controlling and Operating of AIS, GIS Grid system and Wind Turbines on continuous basis during normal as well as emergency condition, with objective to minimize plant down time and maximize plant availability and efficiency
2. Ensure daily inspection of 132KV (AIS) Switch Yard, 33KV system, 400V system, 110V & 48V DC system and Protection as well as Control system.
3. Safe operation during shutdown and power breakdown from SCADA as well as manually which includes operation from 132KV Switch yard as per SOP
4. Arrange proper isolations before shut-down or any fault rectification work, and perform LOTO on equipment under shutdown
5. Mobilize team of technicians on wind turbines in case of turbine tripping and provide technical support to the team on various critical faults.
6. Have a good command on wind turbines operation such as Soft reset and Hard reset through Goldwind SCADA and also Extract various reports through Goldwind SCADA.
7. Prepare Daily Progress Report (DPR) which includes Daily generation, Daily forecast and Daily consumption.
8. Ensure Work permit issuance as per HSE policy.
9. Coordinate with NPCC and RCC on various occasions such as Load curtailment, Tripping and Shutdown.
10. Implement procedures at the plant according to the Energy Purchase Agreement (EPA) provided by NPCC (National Power Control Center) and follow their obligations.

Day to Day Operations of a Wind Power Plant
Hands on Experience with PACiS Sui Schneider SCADA and GE WFM 10.0 SCADA.
Arrange proper isolations before shut-down or any fault rectification work, and perform
LOTO on equipment under shutdown according to General Electric company HSE procedure.
Maintaining all kind of operation records such as Energy readings, Daily Energy Forecasting,
WTG tripping record, Work permits (LOTOS) record, check lists, communication faxes and
other important records.
Coordinate with NPCC and RCC on various occasions such as Load curtailment, Tripping’s and
Shutdowns.
Perform switching operations on plant through SCADA or manually which includes operation
of GIS and VCB high and medium voltage circuit breakers.
Experience of 132KV GIS system, 33KV Bus Bar, 690V Bus Bar, 400V Bus Bar and their faults.
Remain in continuous coordination with Electrical maintenance team and WTG team until
the fault is removed.
Mobilize team of technicians on wind turbines in case of turbine tripping and provide
technical support to the team on various critical faults.
Perform wind turbines operation (Soft and Hard reset) through GE SCADA and also Extract
various reports through GE wind SCADA demanded by higher ups.
Implement procedures at the plant according to the Energy Purchase Agreement (EPA)
provided by NPCC (National Power Control Center) and follow their obligations.
