• Receiving and analyzing Purchase Requisitions (PR) for Plant, Machinery & vehicles related materials in UAE and overseas projects.
• Preparing RFQ (Request for Quotation) and inviting quotes from local and overseas vendors. Comparing and evaluating offers from suppliers.
• Negotiating with suppliers on the lead time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.
• Preparing Comparison sheet and getting it approved from the concerned supervisors/Managers.
• Processing purchase orders under the Maximo Enterprise Asset Management system and verifying for accuracy and completeness of the order.
• Liaising with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on-time deliveries of materials.
• Coordinating with warehouse and site staff regarding the quality and quantity of the materials received.
• Building and maintaining good relationships with new and existing vendors/suppliers.
• Maintaining updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
• Creating and updating vendor database, payment terms, contact details in the supplier registration portal.
• Monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed.
• Ensuring effective and timely status reports of ordered materials.
• Forwarding all documents to the accounting department for payment process.
Warehouse Supervisor
• Monitor daily warehouse activities, staff attendance, conduct stock takes and manage inventory level and accuracy.
• Receive goods and materials, check against the invoice/delivery note specifications and report any discrepancy/damage or short receipt to the Warehouse Manager.
• Storage and issue materials like Spare parts, filters, tires, batteries, diesel and lubricant through Maximo 7.6 Asset Management System.
• Maintain inventory by using inventory management software.
• Post all invoices using the MMS-Material Management System prior to sending them to the accounting section.
• Communicate with the Procurement department to inform them of the stock status of the company.
• Dispatch spares and plant related material from warehouse to different projects through way-bill.
• Prepare Monthly Reports like Inventory Detailed Stock reports, Receipts and Issue reports etc.
