• To load all media and correctly play the content of the playlists relates to the schedule received.
• Checking of all the event timeline primary and secondary and all the hard hits to be noticed. To make sure that all the secondary events has been checked.
• Ensure all feeds coming into the building happen as intended and are recorded and distributed in the correct video and audio configuration.
• Organization and preparation for live transmission events and ensure that the overall on-air look and the feel of the channels are high standards 24/7.
• Ingest and co-ordination of live events, down linking and recording of live feeds.
• Monitor and report any error on transmission of the Electronic Program Guide (EPG).
• Being in charge of the shift and to be a point of authority / decision maker when the Transmission supervisor is not on duty.
• Contacting feed providers, playout & uplink facilities to resolve issues and sending handover reports on a regular basis
• Operational monitoring of encoding and compression equipment.
• Assisting in training and mentoring junior staff members.
