Assist in conducting capacity building needs assessment of district engineers from concerned line departments, POE, SMP, and Senior Program Engineer.
Provide informal on-the-job training and coaching, and formal training based on capacity building plans, and report on these training sessions in understandable, non-technical language.
Facilitation and capacity building support to District Development Committees (DDC) and District Technical Committees (TECs), and line departments in calls for proposals, including:
Support district CDLD Senior Program Engineer, POE, and line department engineers in reviewing submitted detailed proposals for TEC review;
Support for line department infrastructure project proposal prioritization and budgeting process.
Support departmental counterparts, POE, and CDLD Senior Program Engineer in proposal calls and technical evaluation & Punching in MIS.
Support the Senior Program Engineer, POE, line departments and SMP, including Local Government Department (LGD) engineers, under the guidance and direction of Senior Engineering Advisor, to develop standardized public asset management regimes to ensure continued support and maintenance of CDLD projects.

During physical execution phase, support CDLD Senior Program Engineer, line department engineers including LGD engineers, and POE to maintain contact with beneficiaries, to assist in coaching them for independent post-completion operation and maintenance works.
Support CDLD Senior Program Engineer, line department engineers including LGD engineers, and POE engineers by conducting regular monitoring site visits to the respective schemes, to ensure that best engineering practices are employed at all times.
Agreed upon project engineering standards in all sectors are being followed by all concerned at all stages of the project, and specifications and design criteria are being strictly applied and followed;
Cross checked the BOQ of Street Pavements, Hand pumps, Bore wells, Dug wells, Water storage tanks, water ponds, Irrigation channels,Graveyard,playgrounds,water course, flood protection walls, check dams, suspension bridges, culverts, additional rooms in schools or hospitals, street lights, waiting area, Roads and reported to Line departments.
Implementation progress is being maintained as per the work plan.
Potential risks are monitored well in advance, suggesting adequate remedial measures;
Information from each POE project visit on financial, physical, and quality aspects are immediately entered into the CDLD MIS.
Maintain coordination with all stakeholders, particularly with CDLD Senior Program Engineer, line department including LGD engineers, POE, and SMP engineers.
