Summary of Career

1. • In Pre-contract stage, Responsible for Particular project from initial to tender submission both technical and commercial while quoting for the project. (receiving tender documents, following with the tender bond, tender clarifications, cost management, quantity take off, BOQ preparation, cost analysis etc.).


2. • Pre-tender clarifications, Pre-tender addendums are clearly followed while bidding. • Monitoring and updating the Post tender stage changes in the design from the client, and the changes are quickly notifying to the client and any changes further will be included in the Post contract stage as variations.


3. • Checking the priority requirements of the contract documents, due to discrepancy between any tender documents. • Estimating based on the SMM as mentioned in the tender documents. Having Knowledge in CESSM3, CESSM4, POMI.


4. • Raising queries regarding the tender documents, requesting for missing information to the client before bidding. • Prepare and request for quotation to the suppliers/ Sub-contractors to obtain specified materials or service quote.


5. • Following up with the quotations, finalising the suppliers, sub-contractors for sub-contracting works. • Coordinating with the drafting team, to make sure in verifying the quantity as per the issued tender drawings.


6. • In Post contract stage, Responsible for the projects from the beginning stage from receiving the advance payments, preparing the cost proposals, variation orders, Material quantities for the projects, Material order vs delivery. • Expertise in administering project operations with key focus on top & bottom line profitability by ensuring optimal utilization of resources.


7. • Preparing Monthly Payments and coordinating with the Engineer’s/Employer QS, clearing the payment and responsible for getting the payment certificate. Recovering the advance payment and requesting to release the APG, TOC, Retention release, statement at completion, Final statement, Final payment.


8. • Preparing cash flow for the project, based on the approved baseline program and monitoring the same with the execution team to keep up the monthly cash flow.


9. • Preparing sub-contractors billing every month and comparing the quantity claimed by the sub-contractor Vs Client’s Monthly payments. • Controlling and monitoring the cost for the project on daily basis by item wise. • Experience in FIDIC form of contracts and the different SMM (CESSM3, CESSM4, POMI etc.).


10. • Drafting contractual letters to Employer and Engineer based on FIDIC and bespoke contract available for the project. • Preparing variations for the projects and rate build up for the new items and getting approval from the Engineer. • Preparing Measurement sheets based on the pricing preambles for submitting the payment applications and variations.
