I worked as Senior Executive Internal Auditor and have performed audits of TPL
Tracker, TPL Properties, TPL Securities and TPL Life Insurance. I was directly
reported to Manager Internal Auditor and also Head of Department. My
responsibilities included:
? Prepared quality internal audit reports highlighting key risk areas and likely
impact on business performance and made recommendations accordingly.
? Ensured compliance with Insurance Ordinance, Insurance Rules and Code of
Corporate Governance along with any circular or notifications issued by the
Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
? Assisted in developing policies and procedures such that adequate control
systems are implemented in areas having financial impact prominently Claims.
This helps to secure a rise in claim ratio from 50.10% FY14 to 45.25% FY15.
? Reduce company’s commission expense ratio by highlighting management to
revise company policy and revisit commission rates through commission audit.
Resulting payout ratio reduced from 13.4% FY14 to 11.07% FY15.
? Successfully reduced substantial outstanding amount by carrying out receivable
audit on a quarterly basis. Identified and highlighted long aged receivables
which aggravated higher management to take necessary action against it.
? Assisted in drafting Standard Operating Procedure in order to streamline the
company’s process of various departments with company’s mission/vision.

I am currently working as Internal Audit Supervisor and reportable to Head of
Internal Audit. Spearheading team of two during any audit assignments. My
responsibilities during the course of my duration include/ have included:
? Reengineered company’s distribution network by presenting cost benefit
analysis report with a plan which was successfully adopted by the higher
management.
? Monitoring of sales on a daily basis by looking on every aspect of sales for
instance discounts, targets and commission to ensure smooth process.
? Monitoring R.O efficiency and verifying its output with production along with its
P/h level, TDS, CIP and backwash. Any deficiency identified is submitted in
detailed report to senior management and PepsiCo International.
? Presenting variance analysis report on materials require in production such as
preforms, caps, shrink, labels, sugar and concentrate by comparing standard vs
actual usage along with adequate comments.

? Visiting all production plants to monitor their routine operations in Karachi,

Quetta.
? Monitoring and verifying all plants yield reports by cross checking with SAP
reports and review variances of all CSD and NON-CSD products.
