Summary of Career
1. Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standard.
2. Identify key areas of risk in various food operations for early remedial action.
3. Conduct daily inspection on the personal, environmental and food hygiene conditions of the food establishment and keep records on the findings.
4. Ensure kitchen steward is properly trained regarding sanitation, equipment handling and chemical usage.
5. Ensuring Food Hygiene and Sanitation SOP’s at all production areas, dishwashing utilities, receiving and storage areas.
6. Coordinating with maintenance department to implement preventive and corrective maintenance.
7. Control the Food and Beverage outlets in terms of wastage, pilferage and efficiency.
8. Inspect meals served for conformance to prescribed diets and standards of palatability and appearance.
9. Advise food service managers and organizations on sanitation, safety procedures, menu development, budgeting, and planning to assist with the establishment, operation, and evaluation of food service facilities and nutrition programs.
10. Perform food safety and standardization audits on food items.
