• To monitor, review and, where required approve the construction activities of the EPCC Contractors (M/s SPEC Energy, M/s PDIL, M/s Jereh & M/s BST) to ensure that all construction activities are carried out safely and fully in accordance with Company's HSE and technical requirements.
• Contribute in FAT, SATS, JSAs, HAZOP and Risk assessments for the projects.?
• Provide technical expertise to support project development, engineering studies, SD / TA plans and activities, materials and contract procurement.
• Report progress on the activities, versus the contractor's programs, and advice of any potential slippages to the Head of Construction.
• Review and comment on the contractors planning related to construction activities.
• Find the quantities of electrical and instruments accessories against self-preparation of relocation projects.
• Check preservation status of equipment at site.
• Review of construction procedures, method statements.
• Reports operational and functional problems to Project Engineer and carry out remedial action under direction.
• Provide technical support in troubleshooting failures in Instrument equipment and systems to ensure efficient and cost effective resolution of problems.
• Participate in toolbox talks relating to construction activities carried out by the contractors.
• Liaise closely with the Site Commissioning Team to ensure that any rectification required during the pre-commissioning and commissioning phases is promptly attended to.
• Monitoring, preparation and closeout of punch item of packages / skids.
• Monitor as-built drawing preparation by the contractors to ensure that these are accurate and produced on time.
