  Job Responsibilities
  Control and supervise all operation and maintenance activities in the BHS Area of DXB Terminal 3 to ensure constant system availability in line with the quality and safety requirements.
  • Liable of the decision-making process by supervising and monitoring all the related tasks of operations, corrective/preventive maintenance of all BHS in line with workflows, QMS, HSE plans and related SOP.
  • Safety awareness with Fire, Emergency Response and Safety provision for maintenance tasks also conducting Toolbox talk according to DA QHSE policy and SDME SOP 1/2/3
  • Monitoring of the SCADA system from Control Room, trouble shooting of faults and controlling sortation while keeping track of the live baggage handling system of the terminal and to minimize breakdown time.
  • Maintenance of SIEMENS SIMATIC Instrumentation, VFD, Soft starters, SICK, Data Logic proximity sensors & ATR’s; also interface with SIEMENS S7-200/300/400 series PLC, SIEMENS profibus DP Network and PLC Slave devices.
  • Responsible for perfect cooperation/communication with Duty Managers, DNATA and the DCA Engineers about the field operations and to ensure efficient baggage delivery.
  • Operation of Belt and Tray Conveyor Systems in line with SCADA operation to ensure seamless baggage flow according to Flight allocation by Airside Operation.
  • Maintenance of the whole Control System consisting of SIEMENS S7-200, S7-300, S7-400 series of PLC’s with LV panels synchronized with Emergency Stop fail safe SIEMENS PLC S7-400f series.
  • Responsible to prepare daily maintenance reports and asset management tasks based on MAXIMO work orders.
