Currentl y I am working with “SGS Pakistan Ltd” as an “Assistant Manager” Analytical Instruments Maintenance.
My Duties:
Attend to instruments like ICP, Elemental analyzers, Atomic Absorption, spectroscopy, HPLC, GC, LCMS and other analytical instruments which are used for coal, petroleum, food, textile, consumer goods and industrial material testing instruments breakdowns upon receiving intimation from analysts or supervisors. Evaluate if the breakdown can be tackled in-house. If not, assign the job to the appropriate vendor from the approved list of vendors. Preparation of preventive maintenance calendar. Ensure adherence to the preventive maintenance/calibration calendar by the vendor. Oversee the preventive maintenance/calibration carried out by vendor. Plan, schedule and perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot & repair activities wherever applicable. Overseeing all the installations & discards of all instruments and devices. Preparation of installation & qualification reports. Prepare or review preventive maintenance reports.
Liaise with vendors for signing up the Annual Maintenance Contracts with the approval of Head of department or Lab.
