  • Have knowledge of Engine Operation & maintenance.
  • Given the load (8MW) from engine to the REB/BPDB, S.Alam steel mill also
  monitor the reactive, active power & power factor for the engine
  consumption of oil.
  • Also monitor &operate “Wartsila operate interface system (WOIS)”,
  “Wartsila information system enterer (WISE)” & Load curve trend in
  PLCcomputer.
  • Blow through done of Engine When engine shut off.Operate the turning
  gear when needed. Overhauling of wartsila 20V32GD engine of power
  plant
  • Know the function of Electrical common, engine wise, engine auxiliary
  module, compact booster unit panel s & also known as function of those
  panels, such as pre heater temp circulation pump, pre lube pump run,
  engine heater, oil mode selection, Engine safety module (ESM).
  • Work on radiator panel of frequency converter panel & also known
  As function of this panel for control HT/LT water temperature control.
  • Work on 11kv, 33kv, 440V SF6 switchgear (ABB) panel for control the
  breaker of supply voltages.

  As function of these panels.
  • Work on Boiler, heat recovery unit & auxiliary boiler
  (Greens Company,England) panel for given steam.
  • Work on fuel treatment of HFO/LFO feeder unit, HFO/LFO separator
