Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with the Bidding department in preparing Technical and Commercial offers in the
proposal phase for new projects, estimating material take-offs, required manhours by following
clients’ specs, contacting suppliers with RFQs, and reviewing their quotations.
• Revise FEED documents.
• Prepare detailed design documents such as instrument index, datasheets, functional loop diagrams,
block diagram, instruments layouts, installation drawings, etc.
• Attend (HAZOP) and site surveys
• Review P&IDs, while Liaising with the other disciplines and clients’ engineering to ensure consistent
basis for all input parameters.
• Assist procurement personnel in procuring discipline equipment, materials and services.
Procurement assistance includes preparing requisitions, evaluating technical quotations and
preparing queries, compiling bid tabulations and recommendations, preparing purchase requisitions,
and revising vendor print documents.
