  PROJECT:
  Riyadh Metro Rail Project (package 3) - Line 5 (Green Line) 13km long underground metro rail tunnel, 11 stations and 2 transfer stations with Lines 1 & 2.

  Responsibilities:
  Implementation of OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, etc.
  Assist line manager & safety head in implementation of project HSE Plan & Policy.
  Prepare & review Project Safety Plan, Environment Management Plan, Emergency Response Plan, Logistic Plan, etc.
  Investigate accident / incident, injury and disease to determine causes & preventive measures.
  Carry out Safety Audit & Site Inspection.
  Imparting training to all managers, engineers and workers on occupational health, safety & environmental issues.
  Good knowledge of health, safety & environment legislation (BOCW Act 1996 & Rules 1998, Environment Protection Act 1986, Saudi Labor Law, etc.).
  Provide support to Project and Operation team in all aspects of safety, occupational health and environmental issues.
  Carry out Risk Assessment and Job Safety Analysis.
  Conducting Safety Committee Meeting to improve site safety.
  Liaise with the Client, Subcontractors and the Site Supervision Team and report status of safety issues.
  Attending pre-job, planning and client meetings as required on HSE related matters.
  Developed sub-contractor’s safety management guidelines.
  Review sub-contractor’s HSE Plan & other HSE documents and closely monitoring the safety performance of subcontractor.
  Prepare lesson learnt report followed by an accident and communicate with other department, subcontractor, etc.
  Implement Work-Permit System for safe completion of hazardous activity.
  Review lifting plan and carry out inspection of all lifting equipment and ensure safe lifting operation.
  Arrange 3rd party inspection of all lifting equipment & accessories.
  Observe all unsafe act/conditions and take corrective action accordingly.
  Daily inspection of scaffold and ensure safe erection, use & dismantling of scaffold.
  Inspection of all construction plant & equipment.
  Carry out site electrical installation inspection, power tools inspection, etc.
  Carry out emergency rescue mock drill and review emergency response procedure periodically.
  Ensure provision of emergency facilities and carry out regular inspection of firefighting arrangements, emergency rescue kit, first aid box, etc.
  Ensure provision and regular inspection of welfare facilities at construction site and worker’s camp.
  Ensure safe handling & storage of chemicals, conducting MSDS briefing, etc.
  Ensure segregation & safe disposal of construction waste.
  Regular monitoring/testing of ambient air quality and noise level.
  Improving worker’s participation in reporting of near-miss incident, unsafe conditions and first aid case, etc.
  Prepare daily, weekly reports and monthly safety statistics, etc.
  Update & maintain project HSE documents.
