We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant / Assistant to Chief Accountant to manage end-to-end payroll processing and support daily accounting operations. This role is responsible for accurate salary processing, compliance with UAE labor laws and company policies, timely reporting, and proper documentation control.
Key Responsibilities:
Process monthly payroll accurately and on time
Maintain payroll records, employee salary data, deductions, and allowances
Calculate overtime, leave salary, gratuity, and end-of-service benefits
Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, company policies, and internal controls
Handle payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently
Prepare payroll-related journal entries and reconcile payroll accounts
Prepare payroll reports, summaries, and MIS as required by management

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant / Assistant to Chief Accountant to manage end-to-end payroll processing and support daily accounting operations. This role is responsible for accurate salary processing, compliance with UAE labor laws and company policies, timely reporting, and proper documentation control.
Key Responsibilities:
Process monthly payroll accurately and on time
Maintain payroll records, employee salary data, deductions, and allowances
Calculate overtime, leave salary, gratuity, and end-of-service benefits
Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, company policies, and internal controls
Handle payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently
Prepare payroll-related journal entries and reconcile payroll accounts
Prepare payroll reports, summaries, and MIS as required by management
Support internal and external audits with payroll documentation and explanations
Assist the Chief Accountant in day-to-day accounting operations
Maintain well-structured electronic and physical accounting records
Ensure proper filing and document control in line with internal policies
Coordinate document flow between Accounts, HR, Procurement, and external parties (auditors, banks, consultants)
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll and accounting
Hands-on experience in payroll processing
Sound knowledge of UAE labor laws
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and high level of confidentiality
