As a Service Advisor my duties are inspection of damage vehicles and how much it would cost, how long the repairs would take to complete and how much revenue the repairs should generate. And Service Advisor takes into account factors such as labor costs, material costs, equipment rental, manufacturing locations, facility costs and required permits and licensing. Works closely with the workshop supervisor to make sure the repairs meets all financial and regulatory guidelines.

As a Service Advisor my duties were to liaison between the customer and service technicians working in the garage and work with customers to determine problems with a vehicle and provide technicians with accurate repair descriptions. Advise customers of estimated service and repair costs and review details of service/repair invoice with the customer to gain their understanding of all services provided. Determine the progress of repair/service orders and inform the customer accordingly. Advisor takes into account factors such as greeting customers, listening to requests, scheduling appointments, and estimating costs. And also be responsible for verifying insurance coverage, conducting inspections, and test driving vehicles.
