We, COFFEE PLANET has been supplying customers in foodservice across the Pakistan since 2012. This extensive experience means we can provide everything to create great coffee including a range of market-leading coffee machines and equipment, all coffee related consumables and training for staff as well as machine servicing and maintenance. Coffee Planet is now a multi-million-dollar success story through our own brand and via roasting private label coffee for leading companies across the globe. We plan to keep growing until everyone in the world has the opportunity to experience and enjoy our 100% Arabica specialty coffee.
In January 2017 I joined a challenging position of Senior Manager Finance & Accounts (HOD) in most rapidly growing industry of Pakistan Food Chain. Coffee Planet Pakistan itself is a big player of the market running everything to create great coffee including a range of market-leading coffee machines and equipment, all coffee related consumables and training for staff as well as machine servicing and maintenance in Punjab, Capital Territory and Sindh. I took command as a Finance and Accounts Head initiated quick action to strengthen Internal Control environment for overall reporting of business processes i-e New projects, Development, Sales and Marketing, Receivable, Payable Internal Audit, taxation and budgeting help for Financial decision/action. I also proposed implementation of Oracle base accounting and inventory management system to facilitate best possible synchronization of different departments within the group. I lead this project as a Project Manager and successfully implemented Accounting and Inventory Management System in result of business process.
As Sr. Manager Finance & Accounts I was in-charge of Finance and Accounting, Taxation and Internal audit functions of the group. I am also Project manager and Power User of Implementation of Oracle Accounting and Inventory Management System.

• In December 2012 end when I joined Uzair Hammad Faisal & Co. Chartered Accounts as Manager Accounts & Taxation of fellow members of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) since December 2012 to December 2016. Directly reportable to the engagement partners in conducting and getting finalized. I was allocated to the team, the management design for business process re-engineering from different client’s assignments headed by Managing Director. We allocate company employees to different accounts outsourcing client’s for bookkeeping and financial management assignments in automobile companies, engineering companies, pharmacy companies, restaurant companies, advertising agencies, hospitalization services and software house companies. Further, we also given accounting software training and taxation sections for better knowledge to management and directors.
As Manager Accounts and taxation at UZAIR HAMMAD FAISAL Co. Chartered Accountants my responsibilities were as follows:
• Monthly and annually preparation of financial statements of different companies and present it to partner;
• Maintaining financial records and monitoring systems to record and reconcile expenditures, balances, payments, statements and other data for day-to-day transactions using Quick books accounting software and powerful ERP system;
• Processing party payments and preparation of payment schedule within budget;
• Managing Bank Ledger, Cash Ledger and Creditor Ledgers;
• Explained complex accounting procedures and provided support to client service staff in managing their expense accounts;
• Review and process of payments including admin payments, advances, travel claims, overtime etc. as per Company' policy and procedures;
• Preparation & reconciliation of customers and vendors' statements and coordination with vendors/suppliers.
• Review of Payroll and transfer them to employee's bank accounts;
• Computation of tax on staff salaries and rental payments;
• Prepare statement of tax deducted on salaries, rent and payment to vendor and online tax return submit to the FBR. (Federal Board of Revenue).
• Complete bookkeeping of Gratuity and Provident Fund;
• Performed general office duties and administrative tasks
• Attending BAC meetings and presenting agenda and reports and preparation of minutes of board audit committee meetings.
Key Achievements:
• As Manager Accounts and Taxation, I have demonstrated a hands-on management style in the development and implementation of strategic plans to ensure company growth.
• Heading up a team of ten accounts and taxation, I worked on accounting weaknesses, risk base audits, gaps analysis, process auditing of different departments and most importantly business process re-engineering. This also allowed me to gain valuable working knowledge in retail chain business.
